Default Help!!! 2005 Durango Rims are a mess

Over the winter my husband had to put new brakes on the front of the durango. I had to drive it for several days while the pads grinded together. Well, now we cannot get the rims cleaned. Do you have any suggestions on how to clean the rims.

I ran the pads all the way to the rivets on my previous truck and when I went to wash the trim rings I noticed that bits of hot metal had landed on the rings and pitted the finish. I hope this is not what happened to yours. Mine just looked dirty but they were actually damaged.

Some polish and elbow grease. A mother's powerball will help with the large surfaces butyour fingers have to do the rest.
