Default What do u think?

Hey what do u think of this? Once i get some money and a beater car, i want to swap out my 318 for a memi i was thinking of a 426, but what do u think? I know there will be enough modding to keep me busy fo awhile, but i wasn't going to do this untill my tranny or engine went to hell.

moe in wichita ks
sounds like you havent checked out how much a 426 cost. and 392 s are even more. they are VERYVERYexpensive. it is a major deal to do a 426 hemi in any frame that didnt come with one. just check with someone that builds race cars, they can give you theinfo youneed.

why not just do one of the crate 360's lots of power and would be a lot less work a hemi especially a 426 would be bad ass though

Id get a truck with a 45re first, that way the engine will bolt up, or check out the bolt patterns. But 360 crates are pretty good and it would be easy to swap a 5.9 in.
