I also want to do a hood that opens from teh front...let me rephrase that..I NEED a hood opening from the front. If you guys have seen my Project thread post about my hood flying up and smashing my windsheild with pics, you would know why. Ever since then, I have been kinda scared to drive fast as i usually do. Rofl.

the flip flop trunk...has been around...and its the simplest thing you shouldnt need instructions...and as for your flip flop hood...it can only go one way if its technically a flip flop hood...the opposite..thats what flip flop means..and guaranteed someone has done what your trying to do...I go to HIN and HID everytime it comes to town....and i have seen hoods open everyway...including it split in the middle..it open to the side...one peice going towards the front the other how a normal hood would open..i mean if you can come up with something that hasnt been done to a hood...that would be very interesting to see...

      if ou have had the IDEA for 3-4 YEARS, how come it isnt done yet?? has your husband not had a day off in 3-4 years?? do you have any SKETCHES of the way your hood is gonna open?? just curious.
