I got HID headlights and foglights on mine. 8000K for heads and 3000k for fogs. Work great. With the onboard computer you need to turn on your headlights and let them charge for about 6-10 seconds before starting the truck or they flicker. Or you can hook them up to a relay to bypass that.I love mine, light up the road way ahead of me.

where did you find the fogs...  I am having a heck of a time finding them...   I am looking for a full setup though,  not just the ballasts.  (since mine are trashed and the heat from HID will do the same to a new set)

Travis if you get HID's get something like 6000K they are roughly the purest white color you can get, 8000K is more blue, and anything above 8000K is mainly for show use, and not extremely bright at night...

I mean, sure, it's going to be slightly better than stock, cuz the road will be totally different than a yellow light beam being shot at it, but it's not gonna be extreme, as in the case of having a 6000K or 8000K setup...

I'm personally looking for a 5000K setup, with 3000K for my fogs...

It depends who you get the bulbs from.  I have 8000ks in my Headlamps and Driving lights. Mine look light purple, but are bright white on the road.

I can see a little over 1/2 a mile down the road anything reflective.. signs or deer eyes.
