rough idle - 4/2/2008 9:27:35 PM    xflamesx   Posts: 4 Joined: 10/5/2006 Status: offline is anyone havin a problem with the idle at lights or at a stop? it feels like a mild cam on a old car...any suggestions as to what it is...i took it to the dealer and first they tried tellin me a lifter was bad than still idlin the same than second time said it was the 02 sensor but yet it stills idles the same Post #: 1

You won't get any codes to pull if your malfunction light isn't coming on, but there have been a few TSBs on misfires... occuring as early as February of 2006. Corrective action does have to do with valve retainers as well as cleaning kits and carbon removal... not a cheap fix nor covered under my extended warranty, but then again I was soaked with a 3rd party service agreement....  Maybe you will have better luck...
