I have a 2005 Dodge Dakota, My gas level indicator in the dash board is not working properly.
Sometimes it indicate that the tank is empty ( even after a fill up) and sometimes it works.
What can be wrong ? I have just replace the gas pump so it can't be the pump!!!

Bad ground, float in tank stuck... it could be a number of things.

Since it works sometimes, my best guess would be that the float is getting stuck on something in the tank.
