Last night I was pulling out on the highway and my truck just started reving like it wasnt in gear, I pulled off the road and put it in park then tried it back in drive, it started going again but wasnt shifting up and drove really slow, I pulled in the gas station checked the fluids and let it sit then it started right up and drove fine for about 30 seconds. Then as I started on the road again it happened all over this time it would go for about 20 seconds go out then work every three or four starts for a little while then repeat this pattern. I disconnected my Jet Chip because I know it adjust shift points, did nothing. I checked the tranny fluid and theres plenty. Then I put it in four hi, it drives the front tires but im getting nothing in the rear. Today I disconnected the drive shaft but before I get it lengthend is this my problem? It drove fine for about two weeks with it being lifted this high and then no noises or anything this happened. When the driveshaft came off there was no wear on the spline?

IF the 4x4 got your front wheels going then it has to be toward the rear. What did the spline look like??? IF the splines are broke you stop. Jeff

There wasnt any wear at all everything looked fine, Drive Shaft is all I could come up with but why would it work for two weeks and just go out, then go in and out every couple of starts?

For anyone who had this problem, my tranny filter was just clogged. 7$ and some fluid and it ran great... for about a week and then the whole thing went out
