Is there a RWD trans that'll bolt up to a 2.2? How about this idea. A north/south mounted 2.2 with rediculous boost. RE: What trans? - 3/30/2008 1:37:38 AM    89Daytona   Posts: 317 Joined: 12/30/2005 Status: offline I'm not sure if the bolt patterns are the same but older Dakotas and Jeep Wranglers had 4 cylinder engines, so that might be a good place to start you search for a transmision.  Or you might be able to fab up an adapter plate for your transmission of choice.
