Default Ticking in cold motor 00 Strat

Anyone know why when the motor first starts when its cold outside I have an obvious ticking in the motor. It goes away when its warmed up. Problem? Normal? Thanks for the help. 00 Stratus V6

if the ticking goes away after the engine warms up most likely its a lifter sticking. Make sure that your using the right oil. If its to thick of anoil it won't move through your engine properly when its cold. another thing would be to try a synthetic oil. A synthetic oilsviscosity dosen't change that much regardless of temprature
