As we all know, I'm no fan of Hennessey in any capacity, however this is indeed finally a package I think is worth talking about. Over 300hp more then a stock SRT-8, and low 11's put it in Viper/Corvette country..... I'm just wondering how much lube you'll need to afford it....

Cool. I wonder how much the upgrade will cost? If it's well south of the Viper, I hear a Rosanne Barr singing for the snake.

yeh nothing like violating your factory warranty completely on a car that hasnt even been out so you really wont know what can go wrong with it. And whoopee you get a 1 year - you have to take it back to Houston - warranty. I say add an STS turbo to the SRT8 Challenger and save $30000. You'll end up with about the same HP(somewhere around 100HP or less most likely) and you can still take your car to the local dealer to iron out any problems first year run cars always have. Oh and at the same time John gets to keep that 6.1L HEMI that came out of your car for himself. Screw him...

That being said, it really is most likely going to wind up being overpriced....and for the cost of the car and upgrade, you could just go buy a Corvette or a Viper and go faster... Still, this is one Hennessey kit I could actually see being worth the money.....depending on what all they honestly upgrade. quote:

Hennessey is an innovator for alot of MOPAR products. He'll often produce a turbo or modded MOPAR that has ridiculous horsepower and blazing numbers in speed. Overall, he's made some decent contributions to the MOPAR world... However, he's also constantly being sued by his customers for late work, taking engine parts from one customers car and using them on another's...etc etc etc....Basically, the guy is crooked.....and while it may not directly be him doing it......its still his business with his name on it....
