Flowmaster = overpriced chamber muffler... Look into a straight through muffler, maybe an Aerochamber... There was a test done on a Mustang, with all different types of mufflers on it, the flowmaster, surprisingly enough, was third to LAST in horsepower... last being no muffler... the Aerochamber was like third or fourth from the top of the list... You CAN get a flowmaster, though, we won't stop you...

Don't do glasspacks they sound crappy with all that extra backpressure. They are louder but I haven't heard too many that have a smooth sound to them

cherry bomb just came out with a complete set for our daks. might want to look into those. i had the dual catback on my fullsize and it was great. but what ever you decide, just buy the mufflers. then take the truck to an exhaust shop and let them bend and hang all the piping. it is cheaper then buying a kit for 500-700 dollars. my 3 inch single catback was 250.00 out the door. no sales tax because i paid in cash. i went with the imco set up. about the only out there at the time these trucks came out. go to www.grabthepower.com for set ups and sound clips

The Cherry Bomb Vortex mufflers sound awesome on the 4.7l. I had one on mine, single exit just in front of the rear wheel.
