Has anyone installed a HID light kit in their new Avenger. I hooked everything up the way the instructions said and they work great until I start the car. Once I start the car the driver light strobes a few times and then goes out. The passenger one automaticaly goes out. I tried changing the wiring thinking maybe they were backwards but nothing. Does anyone have any ideas???? Please help me out if you do.

Yeah.. you will need a relay and some sort of capacitor to filter the signal coming from the car.. Dodge doesn't send a steady 12V signal, they pulse the voltage.. the HID ballasts don't like this..
I use a relay with a capacitor across the coil to help hold the voltage across the coil above the trigger voltage even during the short pauses in power..
They are pulsing the power supposedly to make hte halogen bulbs last longer.. not sure....
my magnum had the same problem..
