To bring you up to speed, my driver side tail light went out. The power wire for it broke inside the wire loom under the bed. Fixed that last weekend. I tested the tail light, worked; tested the blinker, worked; brake light, worked. Today I found that with the tail lights on, the blinker won't work, but it will if the tails are off. It might flash once, but then the light in the cluster just stays on and neither the front or rear blinker work. Is this a ground issue, or a short, or something else?

in the past ALL wiring going to rear of the truck or car passed through the turn signel switch first under the steering wheel. and if you had a car with lots or miles the first thing you would check was the turn switch. no charge for this one, HA HA HA

ever change the buld and lube the bulb holder i use vaseleene sp? sure that contact lube is better but either works..

KInda sounds like a ground or crossed wires.

1 thing can workwith the bad ground, but the 2nd wont
