RE: performance chip - 3/13/2008 10:01:56 AM    jookie7705   Posts: 54 Joined: 3/15/2007 Status: offline If you're looking to improve gas mileage,  a 3000GT or Stealth probably isn't the car for you.  The SOHC models get better mileage than the DOHC NA and TT, but gas efficiency isn't the car's strong point.  Stock it's something like 19-24 MPG.  Anyone who claims that by adding some "chip" will improve your gas mileage is LYING.  The only real ways to improve gas mileage are to drive more efficiently (so that means no street racing), keeping up with the regular maintenance and/or buy a fuel efficient car. < Message edited by jookie7705 -- 3/13/2008 10:07:53 AM > (in reply to corbaprince) Post #: 8
