it doesn't sound horrible if your driving a little car but i think you need something that will give you a little deeper sound like a flowmaster 40 or 50 series.

slowmasters flow like shit and not sure if you have a 6 or not but a 40 series would sound just as ricey if not more than a delta most likely, hooker aerochamber is a chambered muffler but i could see right through mine to the other side it also cancells out higher frequencys so all you get is a nice rumble. or something like a magnaflow or borla would make it rumble really good.

dude, thats about as good as you can get a v6 to sound, anything else is going to be a waste of money.  My dynomax 3" catback sounds about like that, except a little deeper at idle.

would the glasspack sound deeper on a V-8 than on a V-6?

most likely it is mine i have about 4 or so clips on youtube of it. only 6 i've heard it on was a 4.0 cherokee and it sounded really good. im sure you could find a vid of borla on youtube or streetfire.net but i can't rememeber if i've ever heard one on a 3.7. borlas are really nice though and usually sound really good on almos tanything you put them on. they have more of a exotic car sound to them then say a flowmaster or magnaflow roar. thats the best i can explain it at least from th ethings i've heard them on.

Delta flow sounds good on a 4.7.  Magnaflow sucks. "Going to here it on that, LOL".  Borla's are worth more than the trucks, why waste the money.  I'd invest in a good Amp, and speakers, then go to the drag strip and record the drag racers.  When someone pulls up next to you, put the tape in, crank up the volume, and make them wonder why your truck sounds like it is goin a hundred sitting at the red light.  Not only that, you can listen to good music when not playing the exhaust.  See, kill two birds with one stone.  OK, I was going to pass this one by but didn't, so let me have it.  Hey pitkanen, your truck does sound good on Utube.

Flowmasters sound the best...hands down.  I installed a flowmaster 40 series on a v6 dakota with a high flow cat the other day and it sounds like a V8 at idle and it doesn't have that annoying ricey sound when you rev it.
