Studio that designed Dodge Challenger to close - 3/10/2008 2:22:18 PM    DodgePedia Posts: 22 Joined: 2/20/2008 Status: offline One of the first automotive design studios to open in California during the 1980’s will soon close its doors. Chrysler announced they will move all design responsibilities to their office in Auburn Hills, placing 20 employees of the Pacifica Advance Product Design Center out of work (or, at least, out of work with Dodge). Two of the best selling Chrysler/Dodge prototypes came out of their Carlsbad, California studio; the Chrysler 300 and 2009's Dodge Challenger.
