sample quote

The Ram is the first graduate of Chrysler's Advance Interior and Component Design studio, whose mission is to improve the look and feel of the company's interiors. If production models remain true to the pre-release Ram we saw, the truck's interior could be a more pleasant place to spend time in than the inside of any Chrysler product in recent memory. Padded surfaces cover the door panels and dash, which also features stitching that is real rather than molded in. Rubberized switchgear feels and looks upscale, panel fits are improved, and all materials appear to be of a much higher quality than we've seen lately from Chrysler. The high-end model on display even had a heated steering wheel - said to be a segment first.

I've been in many cars and they all have cheap plastic interiors.  It's sad Dodge is getting beat up over something that every car company has.

True, but Dodge/chrysler tend to keep them the same longer and same dash spread across multiple vehicles...kills any model uniqueness when you can go from Magnum to Charger to Calibre and be staring at the identical plastic dash.

I do like what they did w/ the '09 Ram interior (saw it at autoshow) and they hit it nice w/ the 300, but kept it the same too long.

honestly, its pretty bad among the lower level american models.  the base neons were pretty bad with the plastic door panels and such, but the cobalt is much much worse.  the ford focus is also pretty bad.  however, even with a few steps up the price ladder, my stratus is substantially nicer inside than the neons that ive had, and i think that the stratus interior is nicer than the rental chargers weve had.
