Hello,

I recently purchased a 2008 Dodge Avenger SE. I put it right in to a shop to get the windows tinted, spoiler added, paint sealant/high gloss protection, YES Essentials car seat covers, etc...

After reading some threads here; I have a few other things I know I will get...

Anyway, I do have a question about the shift knob... How do you remove it? I want to replace it but I cannot figure how to remove it... I thought it would twist off counter-clockwise... but, it won't budge... any ideas?

hey dusty the knob looks like it pops off when pulled up. Mine has come off several times on hard corners when I hold on to the shifter. Opps good luck the clips seam fragile.

Just drive stuff will start falling off for you.

I tried turning like somebody told me and no way. No set screw either. So I guess I'll try to pull it off like someone here said. Just don't hit yourself in the face like The Three Stooges!
