I asked awhile back about duel exhaust and flows for my durango, not many replys.. So I went and found out myself. I now have duel exhaust with flows on my DURANGO it only cost $350.00 and it sounds awsome. I have had many coments by random people about how good it sounds. So if you havnt done it yet you should!!!!! Let your D talk to you.. spend the money total difference..

You got a set of headers and dual exhaust for $ 350.00 ?? Can you take some pics of the tail pipes or post a sound clip ??? Sounds like a great set-up.

Our flows sound awesome on our 1999 Chevrolet Silverado 2500. Gives the 6.0L a nice deep throaty sound!

Flowmasters have the best sound. I get lots of compliments on my Roadrunners sound, I'm sure the 3" dual aluminized mandrel bent exhaust and Dynomax ceramic coated headers doesn't hurt either.

I had SW Long Tubes going into a Flowmaster Super 40 setup on my gto and it sounded amazing. Still trying to find out the specs on the durango exhaust though, I need to pipe this thing asap.

My neighbor has a Flowmaster setup on his 440, if i see him ill ask what he runs. I havent talked to him yet as he just moved in but i was out looking at his car and it has at least a FM catback...

My favourite flowmaster is the Super 40.  The original 40's are just too aggressive for what is still a daily driver.  If it was just a weekened cruiser i could put up with the internal resonance, but not for 2 hours a day on the highway.

Mind you none of those are hooked up to a 440, but it's a good start

Deerang,   Just out of curiousity  how much were these?     Would I be able to get one a flowmaster single in dual out without major modifications or rmoving the spare tire?  I picked out the sound clip for the 80 series cross flow?  sounds nice, but do you think it will sound weird in a 4.7 especially a daily cruiser?

Magic if you go to a muffler shop and have them bend your pipes you won't have to relocate the spare. IDK why these other companies always make you relocate it with their systems...

I passed by a Monroe shop today, but traffic volume, other side of the street and 0 degree temps made for a "NON VISIT"  I will try again tomorrow. I want to see how much it would cost and if it is even possible or logistical.  Thanks for the assistance.  IDK  why they wouldnt do a little research and make a pipe design that would avoid intrusion of storage areas  especially one involving the removal of safety and driveability related equipment such as a a spare tire.  I am determined, I shall prevail in this project.  I like the sound of the 80 series FLOWMASTER.

im looking to put an original 40 series on my 98 drang with the 5.2.  I was looking for a single in, dual out muffler but the only one that flowmaster sells is 3" inlet and 2.5" outlets.  I figured that this would be a problem cause the stock pipes are only 2.25" inches.  Anybody know if that muffler will work? or do i need to pursue the dual muffler route?

if you guys want a burley aggresive sound try out IMCO Performance Exhaust, its a single chamber w/ dual outlets, has a better sound than the flowmasters

I have a 40 series on my '98 grand cherokee 5.2L.  Its just 2.5in single in/out, sounds great.  Of course, if the funds allow it, a dual setup would sound great!!
