I wouldnt call them "beauty shots" by any means, overall its appearance is very dated and boring IMO. BUT, you cant complain about its features like brembo brakes, and a direct injection turbocharged engine...

However, the 260hp/260ftlbs of torque are very nice....and the car is fun to drive. I've driven a few of the S/C SS Cobalts, and they were fun. Not as fast as an SRT-4, but very close. This new turbo version could be even better in the long run, and mod friendly with that Direct Injection

im not saying that it doesnt have a ton of power...but even with the stated power of the old models, they struggled to keep up with stock srt4s when using GMPPs aftermarket kits...

They were also using a 2.0L with a S/C.....this motor is much better with the direct port injection and the turbo..

the same engine that is in the slowstice and the sky, right? those run low 14s...and they have the advantage of weight transfer on a hard launch...th cavalier does not. keep in mind, the sky and slowstice were touted as being srt4 neon killers...and the first models struggle to beat the stratus, but the world was supposed to wait for this turbo model, and it runs low 14s?

Why is the Cobalt getting this and the G5 is getting nothing still. Pontiac's performance image is going to continue to grow weaker each time Chevrolet gets a performance upgrade or performance model when they fail to match or exceed the offering. If GM wants to do something that is going to really make a major impact, they need something that can hold a candle to the Evo. They need a 300hp AWD car.

Starting price of $22,995 with only a few extra options available (LSD, sunroof, met. paint, rear wing)...not too bad GM.
