TRANNY ECM QUESTION - 3/5/2008 2:01:57 PM    mongoosekarter6   Posts: 5 Joined: 9/14/2007 Status: offline I have a  1992 dodge steal es N/T. I recently did a tranny swap on the car and i am still having problems. Before the swap the car shifted when it wanted to, went extremly slow up hills, and came out of gear like it had a bad syncronizer. Since i put the new tranny in, the car shifts great but still goes up hills slow, it goes into reverse but it takes a while for it to actually start moving the car. Ive done almost all the mechanical work to ty to fix it so im going to try the ecm.  would i be able to take it to a dealership to have it tested or just be better off replacing it? thanks Post #: 1
