Engine Prob Need Help From Anyone Plz - 2/27/2008 2:29:47 PM    rtstealth616   Posts: 11 Joined: 2/12/2008 Status: offline My 91' RT/TT will not run with the MAF pluged in. Runs decent without it. I took the engine out to put lifters, new turbos, and engine gasket kit when i bought the car. I had the ECU rebuilt and I've tried 3 different MAF sensors. When the MAF is pluged in you can hear the fuel pump relay clicking and the car will stall unless you hold it @ full throttle. Any help will be greatly appreciated Post #: 1

I disconnected the wire for the air flow sensor and now it will idle by itself with the MAF pluged in. Is it reading to much air flow through the sensor without the factory box???? I had the problem where it would stall if not holding the gas. First I changed the MAF but that wasn't it. There are some guides on the net on how to check it. (in reply to Danny~G) Post #: 4
