2000 idle problem - 2/25/2008 4:38:23 PM    stumper0713   Posts: 1 Joined: 2/25/2008 Status: offline Hoping someone can help me out.  Have a 2000 dakota w/3.9 v6.  Engine idles fine while in park, but when you shift to drive or reverse, the idle surges and stays at a higher idle.  When you shift from drive or reverse into neutral or park the idle surges,then drops real low and will stall.  Have replaced idle air control valve, recent tuneup.  Any ideas?
