Default bypass a/c pulley

I have a 360 w/ ac. I would like to remove the a/c but the belt from the harmonic balancer to the alternator won't clear the water pump w/o a bypass pulley. Does anybody have any ideas on how this can be done? Any info. would be helpful,. Thanks, Rich
