pretty sad i can get closer to the advertisments in union station(toronto subway) and other cars, and not be able to sit in this one
the only other car blocked off was the viper...that one i can understand...but WTF

I hear you Mini,

Saw it in Cleveland (a black one) and you could not get near it, no hood open and no other versions (colors) around. Also, no literature nor any type of promotional info?? You'd think they'd want to hype it a bit more??? But, it was cool to see it in the flesh and I agree w/ others who have said it "looks better in person than the photos".

Default RE: challenger disapointment

New to this forum so I don't know if this was covered. I currently have a 2006 STS-V (and plan to keep it). I had a 73 challenger growing up and really wanted to add the new Challenger to my garage. I just saw the production pictures in "winding Road". The outside looked sharp as h3ll. Everything about it made me want to order one, UNTIL I saw the pictures of the interior. True to form Dodge ruined yet another good concept by installing the crappy, Cheap looking plastic dash, instrument cluster, steering wheel, and center console. Why do they continually keep thorwing sh!tty interiors in their cars? To add insult to injury they are rolling it out in only an AUTOMATIC tranny form. WAY TO KILL OFF A GOOD CONCEPT DODGE.... YOU ARE NOT MAKING NEW CUSTOMERS THIS WAY...

On a side note... Has anyone figured out how install a blower on the new Hemi's? Last i checked no one had figured out how to shut off the fuel saving feature of variable displacement the Hemi's had. I checked MAgnusen out and they don't make a blower kit for the Hemi.

Little,

There is more good news (though I totally agree w/ your comments on the interior). There will be a 6spd version (rumored to be available for ordering in June as an '09). As for the blower question, have not seen a successful application. However, I suspect w/ the S/S version Challenger being built just for drag racing, the electronics will have to be different and blower would be logical and hopefully...that stuff makes it down stream through Mopar Performance and others. I'd be very surprised if it did not.
