I was having an issue with no heat. I recently had the radiator flushed and just flushed the heater core(which it obviously needed) but problem did not improve, maybe even worsened. Any input would be appreciated. I recently had concerns about my water pump. Could a bad water pump figure into the equation? Help...

Yes a water pump could figure into the equation easily, and or a faulty thermostat. If the pump was bad you would likely see it heat up higher than normal, to a total overheat also. The thermostat could be sticking open causing the truck to not build any heat too. Hope this helps
