Do you mean Cold Air Intake, Hot Air Intake, or just a hood you bought with a scoop in it? Or did you just take the piping and air box out of the car and are running an open TB?

Oh you're talking about the resonator pipe that goes into the air box. I still have mine in place...I did however take my air box out. I suppose I could take that pipe out, its not really doing anything for me.

just make sure you have some type of air filter on the intake, try getting a leaf or other debis out of the motor.

The snorkel is a big restricion. Just look at the size of the intake area on it. It's like trying to breath deep through a straw.

I agree, thats why I have an iceman, the intakes are very restrictive, but don't forget the neon is a family comuter car, they wanted it economical and quiet.
