I have a 98 5.2l 4x4 i use it haling lumber and towing a 3000lb car and trailer combo and sometimes as my daily, so nothing hardcore.
the trany and transfer case are shot so i have been looking into upgrading and I came across a 545RFE/NP241 combo with 1600 miles for dirt cheep.

is there any way to get the 545RFE to work properly in my truck? maybe an after market trany controller?
any input would be grate.
