A Moment of Sheer Terror - 2/14/2008 1:02:50 AM    kkzzr6   Posts: 6 Joined: 1/27/2008 Status: offline Today, with exactly 700 mile on the odometer, I decide to get rid of the break-in oil and get the synthetic.  I go to my local non-chain family run oil change place and get the works.  We chat about how cool the R/T is and I leave for home.  Couple hours later, (being my b-day) some friends come by for some brews and fun.  Before I partake, I take my friend out for a drive since he had never seen of ridden one before.  After railing around and heating up the motor, we return to crack open a brew.  WHAT IN THE HECK IS THAT LINE OF GOLD FLUID LEADIN INTO MY DRIVEWAY AND UNDER MY ENGINE?!?!?!?!  Whew!!! After I settled down from a five-alarm rage, I realize it is the orange radiator fluid and not oil as it initially appeared.  Turns out, I guess if the radiator cap is not on securely, all of you fluid will quickly exit the system, scaring the crap out of you.  Thanks oil change guys...  we will be talking tomorrow...  Post #: 1
