Today Went To The Chicago Autoshow for My First In Person Look of The New 09' Dodge Ram... I Have My Opinions.

Solid Axle 9.25" Rear? Low Hangin' Sway Bar

Rear End Cut Out - 4 Link Rear, W/ Coils

Side Bed Rail Storage - Made The Bed Feel Small, Great Concept!

Front End Cut Away - IFS Coil Overs

Engine Cut Away - 5.7L Hemi, LOTS of Plastic.

Interior Looks Great - Kinda Reminded Me of The Titan.. Dual Glove Boxes. Center Console Storage + Flip Up Center

Console Cut Out

Rear Seat Sub..

Floor Cooler - Yup, It's A Cooler. Was Hoping It Had A Drain Plug but It Looks to Just Pull Out to Fill/Drain.

Looks Like The Headroom Increased

This Was The Actual Driving Model.. Still on Display Only..

Sorry I Had to

Interior Shot - Looks Good, Couldn't Touch.

IMHO: The Rear 4 Link Coil Suspension Set Me Back. Reminded me of The Grand Cherokee Rear. Not Sure How It Will Hold Up Towning...

That's All - Noting Was "Touchable".

Grabbed My Camera, Then Realized I Left The SD Card At My Shop  Had to Use Internal Memory

I'll be test driving one of these just for sh*ts and giggles, however I'll be waiting until at least the '10 model before I make a purchase.  I am that guy that likes new models to prove themselves first...

Nice pics man.  I can't wait to see what they do with the 2500/3500 I might be in the market for one of those in a few years.  I like the new front end.  Looks mean.

The Very First Pic I Saw Was The Blue One In The Desert. I Love It!

Seing It In Person Makes The Transition Less Overwhelming.. It Really Grew On Me

After spending so much time under the back end of my 1998 1500, I couldn't help but notice the distinct similarity of the rear differential cover between the '98 and the '09. Namely, that it looked IDENTICAL to the one on my 1998. I hope that the rear differential issues have been cleared up!
