RE: Chrysler In Talks to Sell Off...JEEP. - 2/13/2008 11:42:05 AM    HankL   Posts: 2719 Joined: 8/20/2005 Status: offline Cerberus has always told the Wall Street analysts that Jeep was the key to their 'downside risk' in the Chrysler deal.  If the deal to revive all of Chrysler went sour, Cerberus said they believed they could sell off the Jeep division alone for something like 5 to 7 billion dollars ...which means the most they thought they could lose out of the 9 billion $ deal was 30% or so of what they invested. The above article is a REALLY bad warning of things to come if you are presently a Chrysler employee not in a Jeep related factory. (in reply to grungerockjeeper) Post #: 16
