on the 2009 rams im seeing in the pictures that above the rear wheels up by the edge of the bed theres some kind of compartment. i cant figure out what its for though does anyone know?

would any one happen to know if that will be a option on a reg cab, 8 ft box ???

I don't "know", but I believe that it will not have to do with the configuration, but the trim level. I suspect that to get this feature that it will only be on the Laramie edition.

From the pics that I saw they are trying to keep the bed storage boxes out and put your storage in the fender.
