Default rear window defrost

RW Defrost stopped working. The connector thatis solderedto the window itselfbroke off. Tried to reattach it to the window with no luck, tight spot. Do I needto get a soldering iron that gets hotter so that it can heat the solder between the connector and the window. How can I do this?

Default RE: rear window defrost

I really dont know about your situation too much, but i do know that they do make repair kits with new tabs. Im not sure about your solder situation, but the repair kits come with metal epoxy spec. for the tabs that is designed for the replacement.
