HAVE A 2000 DAKOTA THE IOD FUSE KEEPS BLOWING,JUST BOUGHT TRUCK KNEW IT WAS LIKE THIS,AM A MECHANIC FOR OVER 22 YEARS, HAVE TAKIN THE DASH COMPLETELY OUT OF TRUCK. APARRENTLY THE PREVIOUS OWNERS INSTALLED A BIGGER FUSE THAN THE 10 AMP FUSE. SEVERAL WIRES WERE BURNT OR MELTED ,THE PINK WIRES WERE THE ONES SHORTED OUT IT CONTROLS RADIO,INTERIOR LIGHTS.NEED HELP,HAVE TRACED ALL BURNT PINK WIRES DOWN AND REPLACED WITH NEW ONES.

moe in wichita ks just rig up a length of wire about 3 ft long, with a fuse at one end. and a gator clip on ea. end. disconect each elec device, ie take it out of system, and power it with your spcel rig, the one that blows the fuse it will be your culprut. a vom might do the some thing. taking it out of the system is the key good luck mopar or on car
