I finally buckled down and did it. Changed the Exhaust on my 2.7 liter Charger!! I went with a Magnaflow Straight Through exhaust muffler(Best for Power) and a 2.5 in Single pipe (original from the muffler to the back box is a 2.25 in) (Dual Pipes on the 2.7 liter will not give you a torque gain and will be slower from the start!!!! STAY SINGLE PIPE) from the cats to the end without the back box (resulator, is that how it is spelled) and through on a nice tip...it sounds Kick Arse!! Lovin it. I definately feel a torque gain (as well as a horsebower gain) and the sound is right on the money for me...alil bit...just a tad high buut not high at all..I wanted quite but this is right on. I will have a sound clip on uTube soon and i'll paste the link to the clip here. I have a K&N filter in it for now, gonna get the opan air kit from K&N next week....I am totally happy with the outcome of this set up. It gave me more torque, which is what I wanted. It also gave me a horse power gain too and I know I will see a fual economy chage for the better too (gas milage is already good on this car) So for you Chargers with the 2.7 liter engine, Use this info. The Flowmaster that I listened to sounded alittle louder then my magnaflow fif...the magnaflow was deeper (we changed them out (no welding) to hear the differences between the two mufflers)...I Loved it then and I am insane over it now...I don't recall being this excited over a car since my Ford Galaxy 500 ten years ago. The engine is not throwing out enough juice for a dual system....your back pressure will be lower and the torque wil be lower=your take off form a stop sign will be Slower then what it was!! henry
