TPMS issues with wheel/tire upgrades

What are the issues coming from wheel and tire upgrades with TPMS?

With the sensors in the TMPS wheel being set by pressure, size and load ranges will upset the needed pressures for saftey and offroading...Disabling is not legal however....is it being done?
