Default "Check Engine" flashes 18 times

Welp, lately my "Check Engine" light keeps coming on. After driving around town for a while, normal temp, normal oil pressure, everything looks good. The light will come on and stay on until I shut the truck off. It will not come back on when I start the truck. It is doing this more and more. I have tried looking up how to read the codes and I cannot find them anywhere.

I did the on-off-on-off-on and I found that it flashes 18 times with a pause at what seems to be random intervals. If someone can either tell me what the 18 flashes means, or how to better read them, I would greatly appreciate it. Thanks.

This is what I have come up with.

Code 12, Direct battery input to PCM was disconnected within the last 50 key-on cycles. I dont know of I read that one right because it has been at least 50 times since my battery was disconnected.

Code 32, EGR system failure. Need a new EGR Valve im assuming? Not that big of a deal to me, is this affecting my performance at all?

Code 55, End of error messages. Cool.

Suggestions?

Ya 32 is the only code you got. It can affect mpg and emissions. Check all hoses and wires.

remove the EGR valve and clean it out with parts cleaner. otherwise you can spend the $200 for a new one.

A clogged EGR valve will cause a rough idle and stalling.

Most of these trucks have crummy mileage...
I wouldn't worry about the 12 Code. It just read as a "Start of Codes" and the 55 is the "End of Codes."

Most EGR codes are caused by a dirty EGR Valve that isn't doing it's job quite right because it has too much carbon built up.
You can easily clean it up using Carb cleaner, if you'd like.
If you really feel like changing the valve is costs about $95 at your local AutoZone.
