i would recommend an air intake - they actually make the engine sound pretty ballsy. A friend of mine has one on his SOHC neon he also has just a cheapo ebay straight through muffler and it doesnt sound that bad, deep with no rasp at higher RPMs. I dont know about glasspacks tho.

When I had my 04 SXT, I had a OBX racing header, and 2.5 inch cat back exhaust with a flowmaster muffler, single in dual 2.5 out, it sounded like it could tear some heads off, and with my other mods it was beating some cars out there like the stupied Honda SI, Mustang V6 I would race on the fwy and win.

The Glass Pack is pretty fkn good for the money so long as its the Cherry Bomb brand.

I have one on my Neon and the first thing you notice is a more crisp mid-high range boost. I think you'll be happy with the sound On the Neon it takes probably a good 2 months before it totally breaks in and settles on a low rumble that is tame on idle and normal driving but opens up like a raped ape upon RPM's above 2500. When I raced my brothers Grand Am before Iput my turbo onhe was totally impressed how it opened up and sounded Evil coming alone side of him.

It makes itsound like you have a serious motor and doesn't sound like that Rice Crap Fart Can, it kinda sounds Rice for the first week then after it starts to break in and sound like a real vicious sound. I still don't know why anybody would put a fart can on a neon or any car! thats so retarded!.

$24 for the Cherry Bomb and a good few nights of romping or a road trip will have that Glasspack sounding like it means business.

I put a glasspack on my 98 SOHCalong with summit racings fart can (2.5' in 4.5 or 4.75 out) just to keep the cops off my arse cuz with just the fart can they stopped me all the time saying it was to loud. Now they dont bother me and it actually sounds a little better. I also have the pacesetter header and may or may not be running a cat you decide sounds good and I like it sounds best between about 4500 and 6500 there abouts

I mounted mine in the same exact place the old muffler was so it sits sideways then I used a huge ass adjustablehose clamp my dad had laying around and held the other end up on the stock exhausthanger.

tell ya what I'll take a pic for you I need to puta tip on mine but I haven't found the right one that I like yet so the inside ofmy bumper has a nice layer of carbon on it....lol Keeps the rust off...ahahha

Heres a video I took witholdmy cheese ball webcam with my laptop on the front seat lol This is from earlyOctober just after my transmission change. The mods on my car were just TB Spacer,Glasspack and cold air intake Its supposed to be a video of my doing 0-95mph but it ended up as a cool sounding clip and a good example of how the Glasspack sounds in a race.

Its pitch dark and I tried to film the Gtech thinking the cam would get it but it didn't [&:]The glasspack makes a nice rumble when you juice it and let off the gas. It also sounds alot louder than the clip I pasted a link to here:

When you click the link the download link on sendspace will appear at bottum of sendspaces page. The file is only 800kb.
