and i have to ask..do you by chance have a gauge that reads 'bling'? I do not have a "bling" gauge... it would be funny if I did (not in the SRT, but maybe the T-bird)... hahaha... I found that pic from someone in college and laugh every time I see it... so it has stuck The GTO I was referring to earlier was the "original" car from - crap - 1965?? I can't remember now... the point I was getting at was people call the SRT-4 a "Neon" but don't call the original GTO a "Le Mans"... heck, few people I know even call a Mustang Cobra a Mustang (** patiently waits for all the slams towards the Mustang and Cobra names... **) To bring it "home"... Rumble Bee owners don't call their trucks "just a Hemi Dodge truck" when in fact that is all it is... I'm not looking to start any crap on name calling, and I realize jgralka was only joking with his original posts... I am just pointing some things out I've seen/noticed

Badstrat, no I opted for the NA version for reliability. It is my daily driver. The GTO was based off of the Pontiac Tempest. (1964) The Mustang was built off of the Falcon (1964) The GTO was the first "muscle car". The Mustang was the first "pony car" (pony car, long hood, short deck ie camaro, cuda)

Hmm... valid point about the GTO's srt_ya! But they did have different interiors, and trim pieces. The same could be said for the satellite/roadrunner/gtx, but they all had different interiors, and exterior trim. But thank you for taking my joke for what it was, a joke! Oh and Todd I have never heard of the "gets towed often" that was great! Joe

i think everybody over rates the new mustang model, because i never see them on the road. The dealers put the mustangs everywhere where u cant see anyother car or truck that is on their lot. i never see them on the road and dont no anyone that owns one.

i think everybody over rates the new mustang model, because i never see them on the road they just were released... I have only seen a few handful on the road, but this is due to lack of volume at the moment... and the convertible is either just starting or getting ready to start production... hence, you won't see any of them running around yet (not without Manufacturer plates on it)...

ORIGINAL: Dodgegirl19 You know what I hate? Is that I have to be on the hunt for this type of info for EVERY car brand and some motorscycles because of AutoForumUniverse. I have to make content for all the sites. LOL! ~Amanda This weekend is the motorcycle show in Long Beach. I will probably go, so if you want any pics let me know, I will take pics from everything but any special requests? Anything wearing a bikini will do. On a side note as much as I dislike everything Ford I do have to admit, the new Mustang is sharp as is some of the other new cars in Ford's lineup.

Putting a Stage 3 on a SRT-4 will blow the new Mustang back into the 60's...for less cost. I agree the 'stang may look sexier, and I've owned one myself, but everybody and their brother will be buying this car, so if you want to blend in with the crowd, fine....but the DCX lineup of vehicles is unique....and that's what I do to 'stangs in my SRT-4, I "neek up on them"......

Yeah, it keeps the photographers busy and gives the "auto column" people in the newspapers something to write about......God forbid our media people ever became unemployed.....must be nice to have a guaranteed career thanks to the stupidity of "believers"......

It would be so nice if the media would go away. The world is broken up into three types of people. Wolves Sheep AND Lemmings. Lemmings being the stupidest of all people. These type of people go into th ewilderness by themselves and are forced to cut their own arms off when a boulder falls on them. When lemmings are spooked. They form large groups and charge head-long off of cliffs to their deaths. Gernerally, this type of person when realizes an airplane has struck a building they will immediately in droves run to their nearest Army/Navy surplus store stock up on gas masks, duct tape, black garbage bags, canned food, batteries, flashlights, propane, propane heaters and whatever survival item they will need for armegedon. Sheep are a step above the lemmings in intelligence. They too are however easily hearded to thier deaths. Sheep generally have a few that stray out on their own but when they realize they are alone they freeze in position without moving to only die later. As with lemmings, the sheep in society believe everything they see, read, hear and are told. Wolves are those who can think on their own and do not operate under the influence of a large group. Although, in many cases several wolves will be in a pack as it is easier to heard the mindless sheep and lemmings to the killing fields. The wolves of society do not follow any type of mainstream path and can make their own desicions. Sheep and lemmings are afraid of wolves.
