Everywhere I go they tell me the same thing, that there's not enough room to work with... oh great, thank you dodge. Well, I know they have kits online but I'm not buying those.. Well no matter what we speculated, everyone of them says the same thing... the only way I can get any sound of my car is by removing the wonderful muffler that was placed there by Chrysler. There would be only a resonator between the engine and the exhaust tips.. any comments? I know it won't have an exhaust note, and it will probably sound liek crap over time, But I want some sound lol

It's true there is not space for a second system. The Avenger does not use a true dual exhaust system, the system uses a single pipe to the muffler and splits after the muffler to two tail pipes. (On the R/T only, SXT and SE use a single tail pipe, but the following will work on them as well.) If it's sound your after have the muffler shop use a perforamce muffler, such as a Flowmaster 40 Series - VERY LOUD or a Dynomax - much quieter than the flowmaster but still an aggressive tone, for a GM F-Body (Camaro or Firebird). In addition have them use 2.5 inch tailpipes, this should give you the sound your looking for and maybe a very small increase in performance. I have the Dynomax system on my 08 Avenger and it sounds great, I added 3 inch chrome tips and extended them about an inch beyond the bumper, they look great. Hope this helps!
