Everywhere I go they tell me the same thing, that there's not enough room to work with... oh great, thank you dodge. Well, I know they have kits online but I'm not buying those..

Well no matter what we speculated, everyone of them says the same thing... the only way I can get any sound of my car is by removing the wonderful muffler that was placed there by Chrysler. There would be only a resonator between the engine and the exhaust tips..

any comments?

I know it won't have an exhaust note, and it will probably sound liek crap over time, But I want some sound lol

It's true there is not space for a second system. The Avenger does not use a true dual exhaust system, the system uses a single pipe to the muffler and splits after the muffler to two tail pipes. (On the R/T only, SXT and SE use a single tail pipe, but the following will work on them as well.) If it's sound your after have the muffler shop usea perforamce muffler, such as a Flowmaster 40 Series -VERY LOUD or a Dynomax - much quieter than the flowmaster but still an aggressive tone, for a GM F-Body (Camaro or Firebird). In addition have them use 2.5 inch tailpipes, this should give you the sound your looking for and maybe a very small increase in performance. I have the Dynomax system on my 08 Avenger and it sounds great, I added 3 inch chrome tips and extended them about an inch beyond the bumper, they look great. Hope this helps!

I want to put the Flowmaster 80 series on my SXT. I had it on my Neon and loved the sound. I dont care for other brands much. I had Dynomax on my 79 Trans am and i hated them.

I guess its all personal preference.

Zoomers Exhaust is getting a guys in So. Cal.car very soon to do a fitting for one of their exhaust systems. (he gets a free one for letting them use it) After they get it figured out they will let us know how much one will cost. If there is enough interest and pre-orders they will make it.

Ramvenger,
Do you have any pics of your Dynomax exhaust?

Zoomers has finished the prototype exhaust for the R/T Avenger. It is a single barrel muffler with a custom y pipe that leads to 4 inch tips with an angle cut in them. There are clips posted on youtube. Type in Avenger and look at the newest ones. They are going to give a cost on it soon. They are going to build it only if they can get enough pre-orders for it. (my guess is it will be in the $750 range) There are good pics of it in another forum that I frequent. avenger forumz dot com.
