Default Intermitent Engine Light

have a 2000 Intrepid 3.2L, during the summer it started acting funny, when slowing down then accelarating quickly it sputters and the engine light comes on or flashes then goes off, when turning the car off the light sometimes goes off and doesnt come back on until the next occurence. This is not all the time, now that it is winter it is not doing it as frequently but is still doing it. I had the code read and it says it is Cylinder 3 misfire, the plugs have been replaced. What else could be causing this?

Default RE: Intermitent Engine Light

I have an engine code read p0300 (multipule misfire). Prior to replacing the plugs, there was no codes, but when I installed the aftermarket Autolites, it started the check eng light. I'm guessing that on these vehicles, installing the Mopar brand spark plugs may do the trick on eliminating the code reading-I don't know for sure. Let me know what you find...
