I think it's growin' on me. Looks a little "Ford"y, but that doesn't bother me a whole bunch. I like the interior. Maybe in 2013, I'll buy a 2011 model.

I like the dual exhaust !! The dash looks like it makes more sence now with all the info being put in the instrument cluster instead of overhead . I am sure when it comes out we will all be into the dealership to check them out !

I think I'll keep my 2005--Never did care much for the way the fords looked, they kinda reminded me of overgrown Tonka Toys, and while it still looks like a DODGE, I like the look of the present day trucks better. A SC tuner will easily put me up into the same H.P., and I don't have an Automatic to worry about TM.

That made my mind pay my 2006 off in 3+ more years then get a new one this time with a diesel.

I like the bigger Q-Cab I don't about you but  still think my 2006 rear seating area could be larger It's ok for now my Kid still has short legs she only 5 years old for now but a couple more years she be very cramped back seat.

The Megacab Is nice but I want a long bed next time around so unless they start comming out with a long bed Megacab that kills that Idea.

As for the car like in side of the cab I kinda like it I must be getting old I want the comfort you ask me the same qustion 7+ years ago I would of told  you  A truck should have Plastic seat covers, Rubber floor mats It's a Truck let go wheeling get it muddy.

Rip off of every thing that has come before it.

Late 1960's Gm pickups had coil spring suspensions.

The interior might as wll be in GM, hell the radio looks like a Gm, the intermintation could be in a Lexis.

But, no more white instermintation, thiers a +

The side storage compartments on the box, are a neat idea, but add a tool box, your hooped.

More H/P is not going to make my give up my 06 Ram, its Ramafied, the new version looks Dakotafied.

But, I have to wait, see one in person, than drive it, but I pick a day in 09 when I'm have noothing better to do.

I do like the dual EX ..

It ain't my cup of tea!!!  I can deal with the interior, too luxuries for a truck, but still OK.
As for the exterior, the more I look at it, the more I want to throw up, the nose dive front, wow, what is that.  How high are do you need to jack them up to fit bigger tire's, and I beleive they'll look like shit jacked up.  Really this thing doesn't attract my eyes.

Hope the 2500 look better cause my 08 will be my last brand new dodge unless they change their bodystyle by the time i'm on the market for one.

I didn't like the 07/08 either, but it grew on me and now I love them, but for the 09, I don't know what to say, I will still check em out this fall, maybe the pics don't show its raw beauty!!!!!!!!!

i'm assuming that the pics that we're lookin at are of the top of the line model.....you think the base models would have less of a luxury car look to them?....

yea they are the laramie model.  that's why I am laughing my ass off at everyone complaining about too luxurious.  over half the stuff in that truck is options.  the nav system, storage box, floor storage, heated seats cooled seats all that, center console with shifter on it is also an option, dual ex is an option.  I mean shit people all the stuff you hate is stuff you don't need to have.

I don't like ext cabs and auto trannies.  see me saying the ram sucks because ppl can have them??? no

I like the extra storage in rear fenders and hope their doors don't leak

The variable valve timing,
dual long-short runner intake manifold
and added compression ratio
to the 5.7 V8 are all welcome if they are durable

The above engine changes allow the MDS to work up to higher speeds
and the slightly better aero Cd (0.42 from 0.46 of the 2007 and 0.52 of the 2002)
also helps the MDS stay on to higher speeds

Will this 2009 Ram sell well enough to pull Chrysler out of its present financial hole?
I am worried that it won't.

Since they put the shifter like that. I think it would be nice to have a bump shift. I don't know what's it's called maybe auto/stick. My Mom's van has one and it's nice. Just push it over from drive and bump up or down the gears.

I guess it always takes a while to get used to something new. It looks OK, but I have a feeling that the new design will grow on me in time. The truck kinda looks a little like a Ford and the front end slightly resembles a Toyota Tundra. I myself think that the best looking trucks are the 2nd generation rams, but I am slightly bias since I own one. I have to say that a Ram R/T with a 380 HP Hemi has me excited about whats to come out of these new trucks. A single cab, electric blue Ram R/T would suit me just fine lol.
