Default engine dies after 15 minutes-computer? HELP

My daughters finace has a 94 Stealth RT DOHC. The car had sat for about a year as it needed a new water pump and he didn't have the money to pay for one. When we went to tow it, it started and after running for 15 minutes it died and would not start, no spark. I didn't think anything of it and just thought it may have been bad gas. I paid to have a new pump and timing chain put on and when my mechanic went to test drive, same problem would start fine after getting warmed up would die and then after cooled down would start again and repeat the same problem. Mechanic thinks its either an ignitor or the computer. Any idea of what the problem is? We are selling the car and I don't want to dump a pot of money in it. If computer any suggestions or used or rebuilt source? Really appreciate any help, trying to help the kid out and now stepped in a mess.

inspect the ecu and see if you can find any leaking capacitors. I heard ECMTOGO.com can rebuild computers.

Yea that sounds like the computer. ECM2GO.com is great. They also run off of ebay. I bought one for my f-350 from them and they have bought a couple Stealth ones off of me. Lets see a 94 R/T that is MD152591 or something like that I think.
