RE: New charger - 1/4/2008 8:29:38 AM    MangoInTX Pat & Amandas Wedding Fund Contributor Posts: 2727 Joined: 4/10/2006 Status: offline The short version... you will find various threads on the superchips and Diablo predator tuners on the forum.  89 is the recommended octane for a stock RT. Tuners allow you to optimally run other grades of gas like 91 or 91 or 87 by changing engine parameters like timing or fuel delivery. The answer to warranty and tuners will vary depending on who you are talking to.  To boil it down: first something under warranty needs to break and then DCX has to prove your tuner caused the damage before they can void the warranty on that particular item.  Hope that helps (in reply to 06bluediamond) Post #: 2
