Default Considering a Charger SRT-8 - what to look out for or expect??

Hey guys, I'm a newbie on this site. Looks like a great place to learn a bit about my next car, hopefully a Charger SRT-8.

I've heard bad things about brake rotors scoring and parts being extremely expensive, but I wanted to check with you guys to help separate fact from fiction. What am I getting myslef into by going with a SRT-8 instead of just a regular R/T?

Welcome to this insanity!!

Charger SRT-8 is badddddd! It will run circles around an R/T! Go for it!!!

The '06's have a Technical Service Bulletin (TSB) that replaces/takes care of the scored rotors.

Anyone know what the fix was for the rotor scoring? Different pads? Different rotors? Something else?

WHAT NEEDS TO BE DONE IS EXPLAINED IN TSB#05-006-06....THE REPLACE/UPGRADE ARE SLOTTED ROTORS AND NEW PADS. I'M SCHEDULED FOR THE WORK NEXT WEEK.

Roger that! Had mine done as soon as the TSB was posted and parts were available.
