Hi Everyone!

I have an issue with my check engine light being on. How can i retrieve the code without having to use a scan tool? I understand you can cycle the key back and forth but how many times is appropiate? Does this go for a "97 Dakota as well?

Thanks

or take it to a parts shop and have them scan it for free.  Napa, Schucks, Auto Zone etc
