2nd Gen.

Don't like the hard edges on the 3rd Gen.

I like all three of them honestly. The first gen. convertibles are awesome, neighbor has one and I keep waiting for him to slap a "For Sale" sign on it so I can buy it. I own a 2001, so I am kind of biased toward the second gen. Third gen. looks really good as long as it doesn't have the dark grey plastic bumper....yuck. In short I like them all and wish I could own one of each.

3rd gens look like a bag of smashed assholes. I love the 2nd gens, and I like the 1st gens...even though I have a 1st gen my vote goes to 2nd gen, because they were pretty sexy trucks and you could get them with a 360. Not to mention, the interiors were miles better.

I have to say I am a fan of the early 3rd gens...   not the new 08 model though.   I would rather have a 2nd Gen RT...  but I will stick with my truck.   Its tough as nails and gets around way better than any other truck I have owned.

1st gen. Older style, boxier, beefier, more rugged trucks are the best. Who needs all that new crap?

97-04's all the way.  Only Dodge would be dumb enough to "upgrade" a truck with LESS horsepower (2004-2007 235hp/290tq 4.7L V8 vs. 1998-2003 250hp/345tq 5.9L V8).  They finally 'helped' the engine for 2008, but IMHO it's too little, too late - it was really stupid of them to never offer the Hemi.

I am gonna vote for the 1st and 3rd gens, I like the hard edges as Cadillac15 said. The 2nd gens have to many curves just like the 08's
