View Full Version : Check Out this 2005 Mustang!
redriderbob 11-20-2004, 11:09 PM Even though I am anti-Ford Motor Company, there is something about the 2005 Ford Mustang that appeals to me. But when I seen this car, I thought wow, and just had to share it...

dustyloins 11-20-2004, 11:39 PM It IS a sharp looking car.....wonder why DCX can't do the same with the Charger?
ViperGTS 11-21-2004, 01:31 AM I agree with you both even though I'm an anti-Ford fan :D That car is sweet. I'd get a roof scoop and a wing on that thing.

casper 11-21-2004, 01:49 AM If someone gave me one I would drive it, if I had to pay the $40,000 for one no way.

ViperGTS 11-21-2004, 02:57 AM Mustangforum is more popular that DF?! Thats terrible :(
Here's a write up I had to do for MustangForums.com:
Good info Amanda :) Is the charger supposed to be a competitor against the Mustang?
-Matt-
Dodgegirl19 11-21-2004, 02:58 AM Thanks... I hate to do it, but I gotta pay the bills. LOL!! :)
Yep, it's supposed to compete with several "retro" cars coming back. :) The Camaro redesign is retro, the Charger is semi retro...
~Amanda
redriderbob 11-21-2004, 03:17 AM Don't forget about the 2004 and 2005 Pontiac GTO, Amanda! lol!
redriderbob
ViperGTS 11-21-2004, 03:19 AM They're bringing back the camaro too? Thats sweet.

nickoman01 11-21-2004, 03:26 AM don't be dissing the gto because it is a hell of a lot nicer then any thing off of the ford line, including the mustang.
Dodgegirl19 11-21-2004, 03:27 AM Did it sound like I was dissing it? I don't care for it or the Mustang. But I didn't knock either one.
~Amanda
nickoman01 11-21-2004, 03:30 AM i no i just felt like messing with you
redriderbob 11-21-2004, 03:58 AM No one better be dissing the Holden Monaro/Pontiac GTO! Thats the only non-Chrysler product I have ever worship (not counting the Peterbilt 387 semi)...

BadStratRT 11-21-2004, 05:57 AM theyre both pieces of crap. especially the mustang..and that picture..is basically ricer culture meets ford dumbasses.
what a load of garbage.
moparturd 11-21-2004, 09:40 PM .....wonder why DCX can't do the same with the Charger?
Because the idiots at DC can't read the writing on the wall. Besides the Charger is an overweight businessmans coupe compared to the Mustang. The 300 is cool as it is, we don't need a re-badged 300 "Charger".

One of the few times I've laughed [sm=smiley36.gif] I agree with you 100%

dustyloins 11-21-2004, 10:18 PM Things go in cycles....muscle cars are replacing SUV's as the "in" thing.....next thing will be "green cars" (enviro-friendly/high mileage)....
SXTNNY 11-21-2004, 10:20 PM I can't wait for it to cycle to the "Neon" and compacts are the "in" thing!! haha
NeonGal27 11-21-2004, 10:26 PM That is an awsome car! I think I may have to buy one and join to ford forum. haha:)
Dodgegirl19 11-21-2004, 10:27 PM www.FordForum.com or www.MustangForums.com if you must... go here, we own these too. LOL!

SRT_YA 11-22-2004, 09:54 AM Your local Ford Supporter
^^^ I think it speaks for itself ^^^
;)
nickoman01 11-22-2004, 06:14 PM thank god you are local to northern Michigan so i don't have to go Ron artest on your ass
BadStratRT 11-23-2004, 03:32 AM i spent about 5 minutes looking through those ford links you posted...i had to go wash my eyes out with used oil from the mirada to wash all of the mustang-dumb out of me...what a load of crap...going on and on about how slow SRT10s are and so forth.
vlsun 11-23-2004, 10:04 AM the new stang looks pretty nice, although i'd want the five liter gt-40 ford racing motor in it, strap on a supercharger and call it an econo saleen... heh but what's with the no manual tranny option these days? i was pretty upset that the hemi ram was only available in auto. isn't the relaunch of the charger only an auto also?
BadStratRT 11-23-2004, 12:39 PM yes it is...but the auto tranny is the least of that cars problems...
SRT_YA 11-23-2004, 12:57 PM thank god you are local to northern Michigan so i don't have to go Ron artest on your ass
I might not be in Northern Michigan for long ;)
BadStratRT 11-23-2004, 01:02 PM were you just flirting with him, or threatening him?
[sm=lol.gif]
SRT_YA 11-23-2004, 02:32 PM HAHA...
given his hatred for Ford, and my acceptance of the brand, I guess it would be more of a "threat" than "flirting"... hahaha... imagine what the children would look like?? hahaha
(I'm joking all the way here... the point is, I might be infected more of Michigan with my Ford loving antics)
BadStratRT 11-23-2004, 02:35 PM so, out of curiosity..why did you get thr SRT instead of the SVT focus?
SRT_YA 11-23-2004, 03:10 PM that's a simple one Badstrat... you can't beat the performance package for the price! The SRT runs laps around the Focus. I did look at them, but they are a joke when compared. See, I like Ford, I like some GM, I like Dodge, I like Honda, I like Nissan, etc. I like cars - brand loyalty doesn't effect me too much. I drive my Ford with pride (stop laughing ;)) just as I hop in my SRT and love my little Dodge Neon knock-off... I love driving my mom's Accord, and like my old Ranger a lot... I just like Ford since a lot of people i know support them and/or work for them ;)
you can't beat the SRT right now though for what you get and the cost... hands down! it keeps up and beats most of the mustangs I had considered buying... and it has 4 doors - hehe
