Because the idiots at DC can't read the writing on the wall. Besides the Charger is an overweight businessmans coupe compared to the Mustang. The 300 is cool as it is, we don't need a re-badged 300 "Charger".

i spent about 5 minutes looking through those ford links you posted...i had to go wash my eyes out with used oil from the mirada to wash all of the mustang-dumb out of me...what a load of crap...going on and on about how slow SRT10s are and so forth.

the new stang looks pretty nice, although i'd want the five liter gt-40 ford racing motor in it, strap on a supercharger and call it an econo saleen... heh but what's with the no manual tranny option these days? i was pretty upset that the hemi ram was only available in auto. isn't the relaunch of the charger only an auto also?

yes it is...but the auto tranny is the least of that cars problems...
